First Trip to the Islands!

We took Casen out for his first boat ride to the islands yesterday. He was absolutely wonderful. He didn't take his a nap on the way to the drop off like we were hoping he would. So, we were a little concerned that he would be very fussy the rest of the day. To our surprise, he took a 30-40 minute nap on the way out to the islands! He was ready to go when he woke up. As soon as he saw the water, he was ready to jump in! We stayed out there for about 3 hours or so and he was in the water the majority of the time. Casen and I chased the seagulls a little and it was so funny when he started squealing like them!

The swim diapers are made to catch waste but not to absorb urine so while Mr. Casen was eating lunch in mommy's lap, he decided he had to use the rest room! Sure enough it came right through the diaper and gave everyone a little laugh!

On our way back in, he and his little friend Mary Ashley wasted no time taking another nap and were still asleep when we made it back to the loading dock. So, we decided to ride up the river a little ways and let them get their nap in! It was a wonderful day and we made so many wonderful memories!!

Saturday Fun!

Such a happy baby when he is outside.....no matter how HOT it is! Fun in the backyard and driveway! This feels so good to my gums....I still have teeth trying to pop through!

11 months today

I can't believe my little man is 11 months old today! Time REALLY flies as you watch your children grow up!

Sophie the Giraffe!

Sophie is one of Casen's favorite toys these days........He bites her head and legs like crazy. I bought her for him because she is know to be one of the best teeting toys out there. So far, she has not let us down!! :)

Sweet, Sweet Smile!

Okay........get ready for the funniest pictures ever! Casen has learned that we are taking a picture of him when he sees the red eye light come on our camera. Every time he sees it now, this is the smile we get. (If you haven't seen his top teeth yet....then here you go! )

Bitter Biscuit!

Casen's NEW FAVORITE cookie........the Bitter Biscuit! He gnawed on this cookie for an hour! I think it felt good to his teeth............Cute little expressions! If you haven't seen the teeth, check out the second picture! :)

Crawfish Boil!

Crawfish Boil at the Bradley's.......Casen has his crab outfit on that I appliqued. We know it is not a crawfish but it was as close as we could get! :)

Big Boy Seat

Finally......we have graduated from the bucket car seat to the big boy seat! Casen is still trying to get use to it but so far he seems to like it. However, he still doesn't like to be strapped down! Here is a picture of him in the living room when we were fitting it to him and the bottom one, he is in the car!

Fun at Beach!

We had a great time this past weekend in Orange Beach with our Ellisville friends! Casen loved his baby pool that we took to the beach. He was not crazy about the sand but he didn't totally dislike it. He played in it with his buddies Ezra and Abram but he didn't care about crawling around in it! Brett and I took him to the hotel pool after the beach and he absolutely LOVED it. He also liked his new float that his daddy and I got him! After the beach and pool for 4 hours, we went back to the room and the sweet angel slept for 2.5 hours! We gave him out!
We had a wonderful trip and it all ended Sunday, Mother's Day. We got up early and headed back to Mobile for church. It was Baby Dedication Sunday! Casen did a great job....other than throwing his pacifier at the boys on the front pew. They just laughed at him and said he is definitely going to be a baseball player! ha!
