14 months

Okay.....so, I'm a little late with the 14 month update, but I have a few cute shirts to prove that I've been BUSY! My neighbor let me borrow her sewing machine for a few days to applique some shirts for Casen (thanks so much Lindsay (that is her name!))! He now has a Halloween, Thanksgiving, 2 Christmas, and a few other cute t-shirts to last throughout the year! yay!

Brett took Casen for a walk this past Friday! We were outside cutting the hedges and Casen grabbed his Dada's hand and said walk, walk! This is a picture of them on the way back....Casen gets mad when you turn around and start heading home. So, we have to pick him up and entertain a little so that he will not alarm the whole neighborhood with is LOUD squeal! Don't they look just alike?

Weekend Words!

This past weekend, Casen showed out with all the different words he was saying! I've been working for a few weeks with him trying to teach him where his eyes, nose, hair, ears, etc. are. This past Friday, When I was giving him his morning bottle (yes, I still give him 1 bottle a day...this is not killing anybody! :)) he looked at my face touched my nose and say nose and I just started cheering for him and saying "Yes, that is a good boy!). While I was still cheering, he pointed to my eyes and said "Eyes" and I just couldn't believe it so I cheered more. Then he pointed to my hair and said "Air". This was sooooo cute and I was so proud of him because it just goes to show that they are learning even when you think they are not!
Sunday morning, his daddy walked in the room to give him his morning bottle and he very happily said "Mornin" to his daddy. Brett and I both make it a point to tell him "Good Morning!" every morning when we get him out of his crib, and it was so funny that he beat his daddy to the punch this morning! So sweet!
He also pointed to his daddy's belly button this weekend and said "Belly Button" just as plain as day. I have heard him say this once before, but this was the first time that Brett had heard him!

Ready for Publix!

This morning, we got up, ate breakfast, and headed out for Publix (40 minute drive). Casen did great watching his Baby Einstein video on the way there and took a nap on the way back! We had a pretty successful trip today, we spent $29 and saved $59. Thought I would share a little bit of our day!Ready to go Bye, Bye Mom!Driving the Cart like a Big Boy!Love my Publix Balloons! Helping Out!

This past Sunday, Casen went from helping momma put together his bucket shelving for his play room to helping daddy hang his new ladder in the garage! Holding down the buckets for mom! Playing with the wheel barrow wheel while daddy hangs the ladder!

My child thinks he is grown and that he should be able to roam the neighborhood just like all of the other children that live here! He doesn't really care much about playing in our driveway, he wants to walk the streets and sidewalks.....what will we do with him? He was sweating down by the time I got him home from his walk (run) this past weekend!

This past Thursday, I kept one of my friend's little boys, Graham. Casen had a blast playing with him and showing him the ropes around the Cooley household! They enjoyed playing inside for a little while until we went outside, and they didn't want to come back in! We put the batteries in the bubble machine and the water in Casen's water table and the boys had a good old time living it up outside! Sleepy Boy....He missed his morning nap!
