Fun at the Park!

Casen and I met up with a few friends at the Park last week! The boys had a blast running around, swinging, and climbing the jungle gyms! It is great to have friends who have little boys for Casen to hang with! ha! Parker and Carter!

Casen's New Friend!

This past weekend, Casen and I drove up to Smith and Jones county to visit our families. Friday night, was his first high school football game! We went to the Mize/Magee game to watch Casen's cousin, Destinye play in the band, and boy did he have a good time! When we first got there, he was a little scared of all the noise and sat clinging to me for the first 10 minutes or so. Once, he decided that everything was okay, I had a hard time keeping up with him. He would climb the stairs to his Mammaw and run up and down the bleachers. He put on a show, dancing for all of the fans when the bands started playing, he stomped his feet and clapped his hands, and yelled. He had such a great time.....he even made a new friend, "Bully" the bulldog. Casen would chase Bully down and pull his tail and of course Bully couldn't help but to pick him up. I finally had to hold Casen down so the other kids could get Bully time and before I knew it, Bully was back looking for Casen! So, I guess they both LOVED each other!

15 month Check-Up!

We had a great check up today other than getting our MMR and Flu shot. We still have a healthy and happy, baby boy! He is 90% in height at 32 3/4 inches, 30% in weight at 23.7 pounds, and 75% in head circumference at 48 cm. After our visit, we headed to chick-fil-a for lunch and Casen ate so well. Then he ran around and played for a little while! He is so much fun at this age!

15 Months

Wow......how time flies!

Casen is saying so many words I can't even begin to post them all! I guess the latest is that he is saying pretty much all of our family members' names....mammaw, BB, Des, Papa D, Mimi, and Pappaw! He is also saying, "Marney" for Barney!

Other words off the top of my head:
quacker or crack for "Cracker"
Lissa for "Alyssa"
mine

He has started walking backward alot and turning around and around and walking on his tip toes this past week! He is a little climber and in to everything!

He still likes is yogurt and peanut butter/jelly sandwiches! He also loves Chinese food! He loves pretty much any fruit that I put in front of him!

He is a momma's boy!

Snack Time!

Casen was sooooo happy to be home after being away for two weeks. Here he is enjoying his recliner while snacking! He is a funny, little fellow!

Auburn and State

Casen stayed with his Mimi, while his daddy and I went to the Auburn/State game! Of course, I had to make sure he was dressed for the occasion before we left! His Mimi made this outfit for him and I appliqued the paw print on the front of it! I thought he looked just precious! Lilly was just a chasing him and he loved every minute of it!
Best picture that we could get together....of course, Casen was staring at Lilly!

Are you talking to me?GO STATE!

Casen and Des!

Casen loves his Des! When she is around, he only has eyes for her!! He just couldn't seem to get enough of her! I think he has her wrapped around his finger!

Bye bye Beautiful Curls!

Well....I decided to take Casen to Janice to get his hair (curls) TRIMMED and left with his curls cut off! I was not very happy with his curls getting cut off, but what was done was done! Casen is cute no matter the hair, but I just was not ready to let go of them. I'm hoping that they will grow back, but I know alot of time they don't! He seriously did not have a good time getting his hair cut. The only thing that saved us was candy! check out Brett in the mirror.......hilarious! He is such a great dad!

I'll Ride It!

If it has wheels, Casen will ride it! We took Mammaw's chair for a spin outside and he thought that was the greatest. Then Brett took him for a spin on the four wheeler. It is so nice to be able to let Casen run around the front yard without worrying about him rolling down a hill or running into the road! Wide open spaces.....YOU'VE GOTTA LOVE THEM! The sun was blinding us!
Go faster Mammaw! I'm still not too sure about this thing daddy!

Memphis and State

Casen stayed with his BB, Des, and Mammaw while Brett and I went to the first Mississippi State game of the season. Of course, I couldn't leave until I made sure my baby was in FULL attire! Here are a few silly picture of him at mammaw's before we left! Yelling for the Dawgs! GO DAWGS! :)
I'm ready for some football!
Peek a boo momma!

Four Wheeler Fun!

This past week, we went back home to visit family while Brett was on vacation. The last time Casen rode a 4 wheeler was when he was 6 months old so we decided it was time to get him on it again. At first, he was not sure of it at all.........after a couple laps, he came around! ha!
